29/11/2008 Nottingham Day Trip (Joint event with Nottingham's Arab Society)

Leaving Birmingham on a Saturday morning, heading to Nottingham. We visited Nottingham castle where we had an opportunity to explore 17th century life and learnt a bit about Nottingham's history. We then went around in the City Centre and the German Market, ending in Palm Tree restaurant. It is a beautifully decorated Lebanese restaurant  where everyone had the chance to taste some authentic arab food. The dinner was followed by a DJ where everyone danced and enjoyed their time. We had a pleasure meeting Nottingham University's Arab Society who helped us organised this event and ensured everyone had fun that day.
